Inter-club Series
The Inter Club series is a road race series of six races, with one race a month from April to September hosted by one of the competing clubs. The races are between 4 and 5 miles and the participating clubs are PRESTON HARRIERS, WESHAM RR, BLACKPOOL WYRE & FYLDE AC, LYTHAM ST ANNES RR, CHORLEY AC AND RED ROSE RR. The races are for everyone, and guests are allowed and they are run in a competitive but friendly spirit.
There is no entry fee, you just turn up and run with a club vest on. At the finish you are given a ticket to complete which has your overall finishing place on the day on it. You fill it in and place it in the tray / box that will be marked for Preston Harriers. There are team and individual prizes which are presented after the first race the following year.
The races start at 7.30 pm except for the final September race which starts at 7.00 pm. The actual venues are as listed within the Road Race Championship Fixtures on this website.
There are five team categories. An Open with 10 to count; Women with 5 to count; Veterans with 6 to count; Vet 50 with 4 to count and Vet 60 with 3 to count.
