Cross Country
PRESTON HARRIERS - CROSS COUNTRY 2015/16
Preston Harriers compete in the Mid-Lancs. League for Cross Country and all are welcome.
There are SIX races, all on a Saturday, through the season.
The first race is on Saturday 26th September 2015 at Astley Park, Chorley. There may be a more limited turn-out at Chorley as the season is starting very early compared to previous years.
Each age group run in their own races.

The 2015/16 Mid Lancs League fixtures are:-

The Liverpool times are different - races are part of the British Athletics Cross Country Challenge which is a wonderful occasion with entrants from all over the UK.

IT IS FREE TO RUN and if you ran last year, then a number may well be available for you at the Preston Harriers Club Tent – look out for the very tall PRESTON HARRIERS flag near the club tent. You can ask for Steve Jackson, Alan Appleby or Gethin Butler who will sort everything for you. Please try to remember some safety pins. PLEASE ARRIVE IN PLENTY OF TIME. You will need to run in a Preston Harriers Club Vest.
If there is no number for you then it is very easy to register at the Mid-Lancs HQ tent which will be nearby. You will need to keep your number as it is needed for the whole season (apart from at Liverpool when new numbers for that race ONLY are issued at the club tent.)
HOWEVER LIVERPOOL WILL BE PRE-ENTRY / in advance through the Club and once the entry details are confirmed, how entries will work and what you need to do will be posted on the website, Facebook and the information will be passed out via coaches.
