TRAINING NIGHTS
Tuesday Nights
Training consists of track intervals run to a set of Summer & Winter sessions. All welcome, as there are different paced groups running the intervals.
You will need a day pass or an annual pass to use the track facility. Passes are obtainable at the Sports Arena Reception

Time: 6.45pm warm-up (Session starts at 7pm)
Wednesday Nights
Road Running / General Running Fitness
Ladies & Mens Running Starter Group to Running Fitness
Venue: UCLan Sports Arena Track
Time: 6.45pm - 8pm
Coaches: Alan Appleby & Steve Jackson
Meet at cabin on far side from track entrance. Training is aimed at beginners, people aiming to improve running fitness and for those who are aiming to take part in future events.
All welcome, sessions are varied and enjoyable! Advice and assistance offered by a coach and helpers. See the Wednesday Group Info Leaflet for details.

There will be no Wednesday night sessions, because of the Inter-Club road race series, on the following dates in 2013, 10th April; 12th June; 14th August and 4th September
Informal Training Nights
Monday and Wednesday night 1-hour steady runs (usually about 7 to 8 min/mile pace) : Summer-time route from the Continental pub at 7pm is:

Thursday night 'tempo' runs:
Summer route is meet at track car park at 7pm, jog up the canal as a warm-up, do the Wesham interclub route as a tempo, jog back as cool down.
Winter route is meet outside Halfords on the Docks at 7pm, 1 lap of the docks as warm-up, 3 laps as a tempo, 1 lap cool down.

Preston Parkrun
There is a free Preston 5k parkrun each Saturday morning at 9am at Avenham Park. Details here:
